Daily Report (English Ver.)

September 2nd 2019
Hello readers! Now you’re reading my blog, and just like usual i’ll share my activity in kitchen. So, today we learned about pia. What is pia? Pia is small-round-shaped sweet roll. Its texture is hard but fragile. It is originally from china but it’s quiet popular in Indonesia. Usually it stuffed with mung beans. But nowadays, people also use chocolate, cheese, green tea, etc.
As starter, we oneline and then Mr. Ical asked if we have recipe’s reference. And my friends who don’t have any reference couldn’t learn how to make pia today, they helped other majors to make soft roll. After asking about reference, Mr. Ical said we could start make pia following our reference recipe.
First, we prepared the ingredients. We made pia from two different references. After the first reference was baked, we continued to prepared and made the second reference. The first reference finished and the shape wasn’t so good so we hope the second one would be better. The second reference finished and it turned out better but the problem was the bottom was too hard while the top crumbly. When the bottom and the top should be crumbly. So, we’ll try again tomorrow.
