Daily Report : Menu Rotasi I.1 (English Ver.)

March 6^th 2018

Today I arrived at 7.45 A.M. Then at 8 A.M. we started oneline, as usual before went into kitchen, supervisors checked our grooming and toolbag one by one. After grooming and toolbag checking we oneline in cool kitchen. A few minutes later Mr. Syahrial came in and checked group 2 preparation. After that, we who were in group 1 were allowed to continued our project. Since my team has got Mr. Wawan’s permission to started practice on our project, so we started doing the project today. Our project is “kue putu menangis”. “Kue putu menangis” is one of Indonesia traditional snacks made of rice flour and filled with brown sugar. But for my team’s project, we added other ingredients which is cassava flour. So, first we prepared all the ingredients and utensil that we’ll use. Second we started mixing it. Next, we mould the dough. And last, we steamed the kue putu. But, too bad it was failed. We tried again, second try failed again. Third try failed again. So, we decided to consult again to Mr. Wawan. 

11.30 A.M. we group 2 have to start preparing, so we’ll continue our project later and started to prepared for tomorrow. For tomorrow we’ll serve rotation menu I.1 which are:

1. Chicken salad Hawaiian

2. Shrimp Bisque

3. Beef stew with baked of potato and zucchini saute provencale

4. Yellow butter cake

5. French bread

And my team we were in charged in making the dessert, yellow butter cake and French bread. So, we went to pastry and started preparing all the ingredients. When we made yellow butter cake, the dough was a disaster, too much liquid. So, we made the new one and luckily it didn’t fail again. The French bread was good but its shapes didn’t so, we’ll make the new one tomorrow.

            Around 4.15 P.M. we took a break until 5 P.M. and then after break, we oneline again in cool kitchen and we got punishment by supervisors cause we failed to made the yellow butter cake and French bread. So, we had to ate garlic. After that, we started general cleaning together with seniors. General cleaning finished around 7 P.M. Before we go home, there were a little announcement from Mr. Ical. 8 P.M. we may go home.
