What is up peeps? Back again in my blog, back again in kitchen. Today we
learned about lapis legit. What is lepis legit? Lapis legit is one of
traditional cake from Indonesia back in colonial era. Lapis legit also known as
thousand layers cake.
I’ve never made lapis legit before. This cake is quiet expensive and the
process took a long time because we had to be patient salamander-ing layer by
layer. The batter was easy but salamander process really took lot of energy
plus we had to queued up cause there’s only one salamander : )
Patiently I salamander layer by layer. Last layer, baked. Finished baking
we cut it to see the layer, we could see the layer but the layer didn’t stick
to each other, we failed and we have to make it again tomorrow.
