Daily Report : Ala Carte II, 2nd Week Day-4 (English Ver.)


October 25th 2018
Today we came earlier again, we came at 7 A.M. I arrived at 6.59 A.M. but we oneline at 8 A.M. We oneline in main kitchen and supervisor asked about the menu for today cause there were some changes since today was the last day so we ran out of some ingredients, so there were few foods didn’t serve today, like in appetizer we only served jelly fruit salad today. Next, we started doing. I took out the preparation from yesterday out from chiller and added more fruits : watermelon, mango, apples 


because Mr. Ical said to process the ingredients before it gets rotten.
While we were doing, Mr. Ical ordered us to oneline. Mr. Ical wanted to asked about the homework he gave us, he wanted to make sure we really understand it. The homework was to write down volume conversions and we have to memorized it because the volume conversions in our country, Indonesia is a little bit different from other countries especially America. Mr. Ical pointed some of my friends to explained in front of the others. After learning about conversions, we continued doing. In my section there weren’t really that much too do for today because we’ve prepared well from the day before. I just added more sauce because for today we served 40 pax jelly fruit salad.

At 11 A.M. resto was opened and it was going pretty great today, we served the food on time and there weren’t any complain from the guests. Resto was closed and we started cleaning our area. While my friends cleaning the area, my friend and I cooked for our lunch. 


After finished cooking for lunch, we stopped the general cleaning and had our lunch. After lunch, we continued general cleaning together. Around 8 P.M. we oneline and Mr. Ical informed us few things as usual. And Mr. Ical also said that our progress for this week was good and we learned fast. After that we pray and we may go home.
