Today as usual, before we
started we oneline and supervisors checked our toolbag and grooming then we
oneline in cold kitchen. In cold kitchen, we were reviewed by supervisors one
by one and we got punishment, ate garlic if we couldn’t answer the question. After
we were reviewed, around 10 A.M. we started doing. Since yesterday my team
handled the main course, konro bakar with nasi putih and acar, so my friend started
to grilled the konro that we’ve prepared yesterday. I prepared the nasi putih with
my friend. While waiting for nasi putih, I boiled water and combine it with
sugar, vinegar, lemongrass, and salt for the acar. After finished boiling the
water, I tossed it together with the cucumber, carrot, bird’s eye chili, and
shallots that we’ve prepared yesterday and then put it in a bowl and cover it
with wrap until open resto.
Then I went to griller to helped
my friend grill the konro bakar.
12 A.M. konro bakar and nasi putih done and we
put it in a food container and cover it with wrap as well until open resto.
After
that, back to cold kitchen and fried kerupuk. Kerupuk done, then we tried to
plating while waiting for open resto. At first, we were confused how to plate
this konro cause we never really saw konro bakar plating before. So, my friend
tried to make one and then show it Mr. Ical but he didn’t like it so we changed
the plating and we were helped by senior.
1 P.M. resto was opened, we
started plating according to the example that senior has made earlier. Today we
made 40 pax. The courses were served from appetizer, soup, main course, and
dessert.

3 P.M. resto was closed then we oneline again in cold kitchen and we
got punishment by supervisors cause we did few mistakes but after we ate garlic
supervisors let us ate the leftover konro bakar and jalangkote. Afte that, we
started general cleaning until 5 P.M. Finished general cleaning we went to
tennis court to surprised our kapros, Mr. Wawan. Then we back to kitchen and
oneline, Mr. Jaya told us some information and we pray and we may go home.
